1月3日～12日の日の出時刻は7時7分。
年間でもっとも日の出が遅い。そのあと少しずつ日の出時刻が早くなっていく。
一方、日の入り時刻は1月の1か月間で30分ほど遅くなる。
日没が遅くなるのが実感できそうだ。

C9     - The  Czech DXpedition Group (OK1BOA, OK1CRM, OK1FCJ, OK1GK,  OK2ZA,
         OK2ZC, OK2ZI and OK6DJ  will  be  active  as  C8K  from  Mozambique
         between 17 January and 2 February.  They will operate SSB, CW,  FT8
         and RTTY with several stations on 160-6 metres  with a focus on the
         low  bands,  and  via  satellite  (QO-100).   Subject  to  Internet

FO/M   - A large multi-national team  will be active as  TX7N  from Hiva Oa,
         Marquesas Islands (OC-027) on 12-27 January.  They will operate CW,
         SSB and digital modes on 160-6 metres with five stations.  In addi-
         tion to TX7N, other three special callsigns will be used:
         TX7MAS to be used for EME and satellite;
         TX7WW to be used on  24-26 January  during  the  CQ WW 160-Meter CW
         Contest;
         TX100REF in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the  Reseau des
         Emetteurs Francais, to be used during the French HF Championship CW
         (26-27 January)

GM     - Terry,  GM3WUX  will  be  active  as  GB200LB  on  4-31 January  to
         celebrate the bicentenary of the invention of the Braille code.  He
         will operate mainly CW. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS.
GW     - Kev, GW0PUH will be active as GB9KW on  1-28 January  using vintage
         equipment manufactured by KW Electronics Ltd  during the  1960s and
         1970s. Main activity will be over the  "KW Weekend"  (4-5 January).
         Other  special  callsigns  are expected to be  on the air,  notably
         GB2KW from Scotland, GB5KWD  and  GB6KW from England,  and possibly

W      - The Straight Key Century Club's annual on-air event,  commemorating
         the club's founding in 2006  and  celebrating the original  instru-
         ments of early radiotelegraphy (straight key, bug and cootie keys),
         will run on 2-31 January.  Look for K3Y to be aired from the ten US
         call areas (K3Y/0 through K3Y/9), plus /KH6, /KL7 and /KP4.  Infor-

ZS     - On 20 May 2025, the  South African Radio League  will celebrate its
         100th anniversary. The SARL Centenary Marathon QSO Party  is set to
         kick off for a year-long operating event starting from 00:00 UTC on
         1 January and ending at 23:59 UTC  on 31 December 2025.  Throughout
         the year, the SARL,  with  the aid of  its members  and  associated
         clubs, will be on the air with a special event callsign  ZS100SARL,
         as well as the permanent callsigns  ZS6SRL and ZS9HQ, and  possibly
         other  special event callsigns.  A number of awards will be  avail-

         mation.
CARIBBEAN TOUR ---> Jeff, VA3QSL  will be active holiday style as  FG/VA3QSL
from  Guadeloupe (NA-102) on 9-26 January,  as PJ7/VA3QSL from  Sint Maarten
(NA-105) between  27 January and  16 February,  and  as FS/VA3QSL  from  St.
Martin (NA-105) between 16 February and 4 March. He will operate SSB, CW and

         December. This is a 2-man activity, with planned operations on 160-
         6 metres CW (two stations), SSB (one station)  and FT8/FT4 (as many
         as twelve stations). Multiple bands can be in use at the same time,
         and  two signals  can be aired  at the same time  on  two different

TJ     - Thierry, TK1CX  is currently  working in Cameroon  through February

4X     - To celebrate the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, the Israel Association

とは言え、もっとガツンと信号が入感することを期待していたが、期待していたほどには強力に聞こえてこない気がする。

S2     - Team S21DX  will be active again from  Dal Char Island (AS-140)  on
         13-19 December. Their primary objective this year is to concentrate
         on training and  capacity building  for local young amateurs,  with

         antennas, propagation and pile-up handling.  Plans are to be QRV on
         160-10 metres for  at least 20 hours a day  with  two stations  for

TL     - Elvira, IV3FSG will be active as TL8ES from Bangui, Central African
         Republic from 25 November to 9 December.  She will operate SSB, CW,

         Log's Live Stream.  One station will be monitoring 6 metres  (50313

VU4    - Krish,  W4VKU has been active as VU4A from the Andaman Islands (AS-

         send your grid,  as  Krish  will enable MSHV  to  filter  "received
         stations based  on their  distance  from VU4",  and  "to answer the

KH9    - Currently stationed on Wake Island (OC-053), Allen, KH7AL is active
         as KH7AL/KH9 in his spare time. He operates mainly SSB with some CW

         of three months on the island then one month off the island  for at

A7     - A71QND is the special callsign for the  Qatar Amateur Radio Society
         to celebrate Qatar National Day (18 December).
         Also  taking part in the celebrations  will be the  Bahrain Amateur

         Radio Society as A60QATAR on  18-22 December  (individual operators
         may append  a  serial number  to the special callsign),  as well as

         10 Meter Contest.  He will operate SSB on  40-10  metres, typically
         between 21 UTC and 10 UTC. QSL direct to home call. He does not use
         LoTW or Club Log.
