TR     - Roland, F8EN  will be active again as  TR8CR from Gabon from 15 May
         until the end of June (maybe longer).  He will operate CW only, and

VP9    - Darrell, AB2E will be active as  AB2E/VP9  (QSL via LoTW, or direct
         to home call)  from  Bermuda (NA-005)  on 23-27 May,  including  an
         entry in the CQ WW WPX CW Contest as  VP9I (QSL via WW3S).  Outside
         the contest he will operate mainly CW on 30, 17 and 12 metres, with

ZC4    - Martin, MW0BRO will be active holiday style as ZC4GW from Dhekelia,
         UK Sovereign Base Areas on Cyprus on 17-27 May.  He will operate CW
         only on 40-6 metres.  QSL via MW0BRO; QSOs will be uploaded to Club

FT/G   - The band plan for the upcoming  FT4GL  operation  from the Glorioso
         Islands  (24 May-19 June) has been posted to the DXpedition's  web-
         site (see below).  This will be a one-man operation carried out  by
         Marek, FH4VVK  in parallel  with his  professional  activities.  He
         plans to be QRV daily with two stations at the same time on on 160-
         6 metres SSB, FT8 (F/H), FT4 and RTTY.  There will be no CW activi-
         ty, as Marek lacks  sufficient knowledge  of that mode to manage  a
         huge pile-up.  QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log  when the Internet
         is available (from 18 to 20 local time).  QSL via F4FTV;  full LoTW
         upload  will follow  six months  after the end  of the  DXpedition.

4X     - Team  4X2DS  will be active  from the shores of the  Dead Sea,  the
         lowest land-based elevation on Earth  (440 metres below sea level),

ARRL SYSTEMS SERVICE DISRUPTION ---> "We are in the process of responding to
a  serious incident  involving access  to our network and headquarters-based
systems", the ARRL notified on 16 May. "Several services, such as Logbook of
The World (LoTW)  and  the ARRL Learning Center,  are affected.  Please know
that  restoring access is our  highest priority,  and  we are  expeditiously
working with  outside industry experts  to address the issue.  We appreciate

5月11日のＴGCネット・キー局は8エリアの局が担当。
バンドコンディションが悪く、いつもなら8エリアの信号は強力に聞こえることが多いが、
この日は信号がとても弱かった。
呼んではみたものの空振りに終わった。

5月18日は、2エリアの局が担当。
2エリア、3エリア、4エリア、5エリア、6エリアがキー局の時は大体空振りが多い。
この日は、7時の段階では2エリアのキー局は強くなかったが、途中から強力になった。
終了までに何とかピックアップしてもらうことができた。

ＴGCネットは、1KWのフルパワーで呼ぶが苦戦する。
そのあと、A1ClubのOAMの7MHzCWでコールしたが、こちらは50Wでもすぐにコールバックがあった。
やはりTGCネットは、呼ぶ局のパワーが超強力だ。

日の出時刻が早くなったため、6時前にシャックに入ったのでは、すでに陽が高く昇っており、7MHzでDXの信号は聞こえない。
太陽フレアがニュースになっていたが、SSNの値は高いがバンドのコンディションはあまり良くない。
すでに夏場のコンディションに変わってきていて、7MHzが良くないのか?
それともHFが全般的に良くないのか？

A2     - Remo, HB9SHD  will be active  "casual holiday style"  while touring
         Botswana between  30 April and 13 May.  The callsign issued  by the
         Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority is  A255HD  (Alpha Two
         Five Five Hotel Delta).  He will be QRV on 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres
         SSB and maybe FT8. Paper QSL cards will not be available.
A9     - Special event station A91WTIS will be active on 11-17 May to  cele-
         brate World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (17 May).
         QSL  via EC6DX.  WTISD  marks  the founding  of  the  International
         Telecommunication Union (ITU),  and  its purpose is  to  help raise
         awareness about  the global innovation gap,  promote digital inclu-
         sion, and spur action to close the digital divide.
CN     - In celebration of the  21st birthday of  Prince Moulay Hassan,  the
         heir apparent to the Moroccan throne, special callsign  CN21HM will
         be active on 8-12 May. QSL direct to CN8RAH.
CP     - Members of the  Yaguarete DX Group  (LU1FM, LU2JCW,  LU3FR, LU6FOV,
         LU7HN,  LU7MT,  LU8YD  and  LU9FHF)  will be active as  CP7DX  from
         Tarija, Bolivia on 11-19 May.  They will operate SSB, CW, FT8 (F/H)
         on 160-6 metres,  as well as  SSB and FM  via  LEO satellites.  See

GI     - Once again the North West Group ARC  (MN0NWG)  is  running  special
         event station  GB0AEL  between 5 and 31 May  to commemorate the an-
         niversary of Amelia Earhart's transatlantic flight.  QSL via MI0HOZ
         (direct or bureau). On 20-21 May 1932,  Earhart  became  the  first
         woman to  fly nonstop and alone across the Atlantic, leaving Harbor
         Grace on  Newfoundland (Canada), and  landing  15 hours later  near
         Londonderry (Northern Ireland).
V4     - Tim, N5TCH will be active  holiday style as V4/N5TCH from  St Kitts
         (NA-104) on 10-17 May.  Most likely he will be QRV during his early
         morning hours. QSL via LoTW; paper cards will not be available.

3D2CCC ---> The DX Rebel Group's DXpedition to Conway Reef began on 28 April
at around 05.30 UTC.  To date, over 50,000 QSOs have been made, but Internet
access for uploading QSOs  to Club Log is very limited.  The 2-man team will
continue  to run  all the  stations  until the diesel fuel  supply  for  the
generators  is exhausted.  QSL via  Club Log's OQRS.  Updates  are posted to

5X     - Jack, NP2OR has been active as 5X3L from Kayabwe ("just a few steps
         from the  equator line"),  Uganda since 20 April,  and  will remain
         there until sometime in May. He will be QRV on 20, 10 and once in a
         while on 40 metres.  QSL via LoTW,  or direct via  Club Log's OQRS.

9X     - Harold, DF2WO  will be active again as  9X2AW  from Rwanda on  2-17
         May. He will operate CW, SSB and digital modes on the HF bands  and

OX     - Bo, OZ1DJJ will be active again as OX3LX from Greenland between  26
         April and 9 May. In his spare time he will operate FT8, RTTY and CW
         from Kangerlussuaq (grid GP60),  Nuuk (grid GP44) and Paamiut (grid
         GP51). QSL via OZ0J; QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and Club Log.
FT/G   - Marek, FH4VVK will be active as FT4GL  from Grande Glorieuse,  Glo-
         rioso Islands  (AF-011)  from  24 May to 19 June.  The most  recent
         activity from the islands dates back to 2009 (FT5GA),  and the Glo-
         rieuses are currently ranked  8th  on  Club Log's  DXCC Most Wanted
         List.  This one-man operation will be carried out in  parallel with
         Marek's professional activities.  He hopes to be QRV daily with two
         stations at the same time - one on FT8  and  one on SSB or RTTY (he
         lacks sufficient knowledge  of CW to manage a huge pile-up).  There
         will be no  activity on 6 metres, EME, or via satellite.  QSOs will
         be uploaded to  Club Log on a daily basis;  access to the  Internet
         will be available  for two hours a day,  from 18 to 20  local time.
