JA1PBVさんによるアフリカからの運用
・現在ガーナから９Ｇ５ＳＩを運用中。４０ｍ、２０ｍのＣＷが中心。１２月２６日までの予定。
・１２月２６日から１月２日まで、トーゴ（５Ｖ）から運用の予定。
・１月２日から９日まで、ベニン（ＴＹ）から運用の予定。
・ＱＳＬは、ホームコールまで。

AFRICAN TOUR. Sadao "Dan", JA1PBV, who is on a African tour for about
a month, is now active as 9G5SI from Accra, Ghana. Activity has been
mostly on 40 and 20 meters CW, but he also does operate on SSB and the
Digital modes. He is expected to leave on December 26th. Dan is expected
to go to Togo (5V) next between December 26th and January 2nd, and then
on to Benin (TY) between January 2-9th. He will try to operate from both
places, but has not been issued callsigns yet. QSL via JA1PBV.

VOAのSpecial Englishが、先日時を同じくして亡くなった北朝鮮の金正日総書記とチェコのハベル前大統領について、記事を載せている。

いろいろな英語の教材が出ているが、英文の内容を自分で抜粋してまとめてみることで、
(1) 内容を簡潔に理解できる
(2) 関連語彙や表現、英文の組み立てについて学習できる

VOA　Special Englishの英文は、そういう使い方をするのに最適な気がする。
抜粋するだけではなく、自分の言葉を使って要約(summarize)するとさらに良いが、時間がかかる。
身近まとめた英文を音読するとさらに効果的。
こうすることで、「聞く」、「読む」、「書く」、「話す」力を総合的に伸ばすことができるお薦めの学習法だと思う。
それに、最大のメリットは「安上がり」

North Korea waited two days to announce his death.  
It said he died Saturday of a heart attack during a "field guidance tour" on 
his train.  He was sixty-nine years old.

Pyongyang, North Korea.

OnThursday, North Korea officially recognized his youngest son, Kim Jong Un, 

as thecountry's next leader.

 

Kim JongIl expanded North Korea's nuclear program while millions of his 

people were starving.  His forces tested nuclear weapons and launched 

missiles.  His actions deeply worried his neighbors and the United States.

 

Kim JongIl rarely appeared in public.  He had ledNorth Korea since his 

father died seventeen years ago.  
North Korea has the world's fifth largest army.  

But the economy suffered as the North facednatural disasters.  

It also faced theloss of aid after the official end of the Soviet Union twenty 

years ago this Sunday.

２４日の午後、ＪＫ３ＹＭＦゆずりは神崎アマチュア無線クラブの忘年会に出席した。
参加メンバーは１１名。昨年の忘年会でお会いして以来、一年ぶりにお会いする方や、今回初めてお会いする方もあったが、皆さん熱心なアマチュア局。

４３０ＭＨｚＳＳＢでご活躍の方が多かったが、お話をするとＨＦ、ＤＸ（海外交信）とも共通点が多く、興味深くお話をうかがった。

ＹＭＦに入会さていただいて、もうすぐ２０年になる。
その間、ＪＧ３ＢＡＯさんがキー局を務められて、毎週火曜日の夜に４３０ＭＨｚＦＭでロールコールが行なわれている。

クラブ局は、現在どこも活動が下降気味なのではなかろうか。
ＹＭＦの息の長い活動を継続させていらっしゃるＢＡＯさんのご尽力に、頭が下がる思いだ。

夕方、久しぶりに電波を出した。

１８：００ＪＳＴ過ぎ、７ＭＨｚＣＷでＥＡ６（バリアレス諸島）が強く聞こえていた。
呼んでみるとすぐにコールバックがあった。
７ＭＨｚのコンディションが良いのかと思い、ＥＡ６とのＱＳＯのあと、７０１４付近でＣＱ ＤＸを出してみた。
ＥＩ（アイルランド）、ＺＰ（パラグアイ）、ＨＬ（韓国）から呼ばれたところで夕食のＢＫが入った。

クリスマスなので、とりあえずその後は無線をせず、家族とテレビを見て過ごした。
最近、アクティビティーが急降下。
なんとかしなくては・・・

１１月末から仕事が忙しくなって、ほとんどＱＲＶをしていなかった。
しかし、月末のコンテストで少しだけだがＱＳＯをしたので、ログを提出するためにシャックに入った。
ログの提出締め切りは、１２月２０日。いつもギリギリ。
 
今回のエントリーは、オールバンドではなく４０ｍシングルバンドとした。
仕事や所用で昼間の運用時間が思うように取れなかったため、ハイバンドのＱＳＯがあまりできなかったからだ。過去はオールバンドで電子ログを提出したことはあったが、シングルバンドは今回が初めてだ。
 
ＣＴＥＳＴＷＩＮを使って、電子ログ(Cabrillo Format)を出力して、先ほど電子メールに添付して送った。
電子ログには、すべてのバンドでのＱＳＯデータが含まれている。
今回は、CTESTWINの操作と電子ログ提出の練習が主な目的だから、結果は気にしないことにしよう。
 
提出すると、すぐにメールで返事が返ってきた。
（Robot softwareが自動で受付の返事を返してくれるとのこと。以下、そのメールの内容）
