OPDXを見ると、サウスオークニーのDXペディションが始まるようだ。
これまで数々のペディションで、多くのエンティティーから確実に電波を届けてくれたマイクロライト・ペンギンDXクラブのメンバーなので、今回も安心できそうだ。

VP8O, SOUTH ORKNEY ISLANDS. Members of the Microlight Penguins departed
Ushuaia, Argentina, on board the "RV Braveheart" on Friday, January 21st,
to head to South Orkney Islands (AN-008). If all goes well, VP8ORK should
be active between January 27th and February 8th. They expect to be on the
air with 7 stations on all HF bands 160-10 meters using SSB, CW and RTTY.
Suggested frequencies are:
CW - 1826.5, 3504, 7004, 10104, 14024, 18074, 21024, 24894 and 28024 kHz
SSB - 3799, 7078, 14200, 18145, 21295, 24945 and 28475 kHz
RTTY - 7040, 10140, 14080, 18100, 21080 and 28080 kHz
